Program Overview
Spectrum Strong Learning Center is a private, autism-specific school dedicated to empowering students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through a comprehensive, supportive, and individualized educational experience. Our program is designed to meet each child where they are and help them grow academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally—within a nurturing and structured environment.

At Spectrum Strong, we understand that no two students with autism are alike. That’s why we offer individualized academic instruction that is carefully aligned to each student’s developmental level, learning style, and unique goals. Using evidence-based curricula, teachers adapt content in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies to meet the specific needs of each learner. Small group instruction and 1:1 teaching ensure that every child receives the attention and support necessary to thrive.

Our program incorporates ABA therapy throughout the school day. Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) provide individualized behavioral support, focusing on skill acquisition, communication development, and reduction of challenging behaviors through positive reinforcement and data-driven strategies. ABA is fully embedded into classroom routines and transitions, ensuring learning opportunities are maximized throughout the day.

Occupational therapy services are provided on-site by licensed occupational therapists who specialize in supporting children with autism. OT sessions address sensory integration, fine motor skills, self-regulation, and daily living skills, and are scheduled during the school day so that students can benefit from therapeutic support without missing academic instruction. Therapists collaborate closely with teachers and families to ensure consistency across environments.

To support the whole child and encourage creativity, socialization, and physical activity, Fridays are devoted to electives and extracurriculars. Students participate in structured activities such as art, music, physical education, and team-based sports that are adapted to their sensory and communication needs. These enrichment opportunities promote self-expression, confidence, and peer relationships in a safe and inclusive environment.
Integrated Daily Schedule
Our unique scheduling model allows students to receive both academic instruction and therapeutic services during the school day. Students are grouped into two alternating cohorts—one receiving academics in the morning and therapies in the afternoon, and the other in reverse. This ensures that each child has access to high-quality, focused time in both domains without interruption.
